HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse for our Special Procedures Department. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality care in a procedural environment and support a team dedicated to patient safety.

You will assist physicians, prepare equipment, monitor patients, document care, and administer medications per orders; BLS and ACLS are required within specified timelines. A BSN is preferred for ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida RN or compact license; FL license required within 60 days.
• Nursing diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide care for invasive radiology patients pre-, intra-, post-procedure.
• Assist physicians during procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
• Monitor patient status and document; administer medications per orders.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse for our Special Procedures Department. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do in this role:

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of invasive radiology patients; pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.

You will assist physicians in procedures.

You will identify, determine, and ensure all appropriate equipment is available for procedures. You will ensure room is set up in a timely manner.

You will monitor patients during procedures and document appropriately.

You will continuously assess, monitor, record and communicate patient condition and act appropriately.

You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements:

Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

Previous Experience In An Acute Care Setting Strongly Preferred.

Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
