Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to support imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will care for patients preparing for imaging, collaborating with a family-like team, and contributing to patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include sedation for CT biopsies, cardiac CTA administration, port access with heparin, IV starts, and monitoring patients with pacemakers or ICDs. Florida RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; compact license accepted with 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS Provider card required.
• 1 year acute care experience required; 1 year critical care preferred.

• Administer Glucagon for CT enterography and Lasix.
• Place Foley Catheters and access Port-a-Cath; de-access with Heparin per protocol.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

• Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc
• Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol
• Administer Glucagon to CT enterography
• Administer Lasix
• Place Foley Catheters
• Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol
• Start IV in difficult sticks
• Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required
