The role provides comprehensive nursing care, patient evaluations, and treatments to students, staff, and community members, while operating the Mobile Clinic and managing supplies and equipment.

The position is temporary/part-time, with varied hours and a grant-funded status.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of clinical nursing experience.
• Texas RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• State of Texas class ‘C’ vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluations, and treatment.
• Maintains nursing standards and participates in reflective practice.
• Provides nursing services to Mobile Clinic patients and educates patients as needed.
• Drives to schools and homes to deliver nursing services in a University vehicle.
• Operates and maintains the Mobile Clinic, including inventory and requisition of supplies.
