Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center’s College of Nursing seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner for a mobile school-based clinic serving students, faculty, staff, families, and community members in rural Brazos Valley, Texas. You will work with an interprofessional team and travel to mobile clinic sites to deliver primary care.

Requires active Texas RN and FNP licenses with prescriptive authority, and board certification. Salary commensurate with education and experience; Bryan, TX location.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active license as a Registered Nurse and as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, in Texas with prescriptive authority.
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Performs history, physical exams, and diagnoses primary care conditions.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging; manage medications.
• Provide education to patients and families; coordinate with interprofessional team.
