The Texas A&M University Health Science Center invites applications for a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care in a mobile school-based clinic serving students, faculty, staff, and families in rural Brazos Valley.

You will collaborate with an interprofessional team, travel to mobile sites, provide preventive care, immunizations, and chronic disease management, and precept nursing students while contributing to scholarly projects.

Qualifications

Master of Science in nursing with family NP board certification or equivalent.
One year of experience as a family nurse practitioner.
Active Texas RN and APRN licenses with prescriptive authority.
Texas driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive primary care in mobile clinic settings and coordinates care with the health team.
Orders and interprets tests, develops treatment plans, and educates patients and families.
Precepts nursing students and mentors staff in clinical practice.
Leads and supervises NP team; ensures performance and quality improvement.
Participates in data reporting and scholarly projects as needed.
