Job summary

Suburban Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking an IMCU Registered Nurse for the 12-hour night shift. The 20-bed unit serves high-acuity trauma, CV and acute medical-surgical patients within a world-class health system.

Qualifications

• RN license in MD or a Compact State license required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months RN IMCU/PCU experience; 1 year+ high-acuity hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for IMCU patients, including trauma, CV and acute medical-surgical cases.
• Monitor patient conditions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safety and quality of care.

Unit Info:

• Intermediate Care Unit (20-bed Trauma, complex trauma, CV and acute medical Surgical patient).
• High acuity patients

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state)
• Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months RN acute care PCU or IMCU experience required. Preferred, 1-year plus high acute Hospital experience or more.
