Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, is hiring an RN for the Medical Progressive Care Unit. This 36-hours/week, full-time role features 12-hour rotating shifts with six weeks' self scheduling, offering exposure to a high-acuity patient population and opportunities to grow your skills.
Qualifications include 6 months Med/Tele RN experience, Maryland license, BLS CPR, ADN required with BSN preferred and a path to BSN.

TheMedical Progressive Care Unitat The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 21-bed high acuity step-down unit, caring for critically ill adult medical patients. Patient population includes those with complex organ disease, requiring mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, and continuous monitoring. Common medical diagnoses include sepsis, respiratory failure, GI bleed, liver failure, and DKA. This is a highly skilled floor, from which new staff will gain instrumental experience. Nurse to patient ratios are 3:1. There is opportunity for growth on the MPCU, regardless of where you are in your career!
