Job Overview

This full-time ICU Registered Nurse position offers a flexible day shift schedule and includes relocation assistance. The role involves providing safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards, offering professional leadership, and supporting the healthcare team. The foundation of all nursing care is Patient-Centered Care, and demonstrating Service Excellence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage the patient and family in psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, cultural, and diversity needs during care assessment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using nursing knowledge and skills, addressing diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, setting goals, treatment, and discharge plans tailored to patient and family needs.
• Perform hourly rounds purposefully to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs, while ensuring a patient-friendly and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Current NV nursing license
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting
• Handle with Care certification or obtained within six months of employment
