Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse Resident for the ICU. The role is full-time, night shift, 36 hours per week, with responsibilities including applying the nursing process, coordinating care, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Physical requirements:
• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
