Job summary

Ascension in Nashville, TN is seeking an ICU-focused Registered Nurse to join the ICU Float Pool for full-time night shifts. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and execute physician and nursing orders while actively assessing patient needs with the healthcare team.

The role requires an RN license (TN or compact) and ACLS, BLS within specified windows; ICU experience is preferred. Competitive benefits accompany this position at Ascension.

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire or transfer date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
