Job summary

The position requires an accredited nursing program graduate, RN license in Alabama, BLS, and possibly ACLS/PALS depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide and/or counsel patients in health promotion and illness prevention.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care for patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, podiatrists, and/or dentists to deliver timely, cost-effective care.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with the care team to support comprehensive outcomes.
