Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• If job is in The Kirklin Clinic (TKC): Currently certified with CPR or must be obtained within 30 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care under general supervision.
• Deliver care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Interact with patients, significant others and health care team while maintaining professional standards.
• Address the needs of patients from newborn to geriatric.
