Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for full‑time day shifts to provide and manage patient care using a structured nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with patients, families and health‑care teams. Alabama RN licensure, CPR required, ACLS/PALS as noted.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within six months for TKC areas and within one month for Hospital locations.
• PALS certification (AHA) preferred for TKC.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age and population.
• Deliver care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Interact with patient, families and health team while maintaining professional standards.
