Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 38-bed ICU, delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative setting. The 36-hour schedule spans days and nights and encourages teamwork to improve outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our 38-bed (28+10) multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Position: Registered Nurse Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Schedule: 36 Hours (Days/Nights)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION: Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• EXPERIENCE: 2 years of RN experience required in a med/surg setting ICU experience preferred

Compensation Range: $39.80- $93.69 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
