Boston Medical Center in Brighton, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 38-bed ICU team. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN preferred, BSN within 4 years), MA RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 2 years of med/surg RN experience with ICU preferred. This is a 36-hour night schedule.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years of RN experience required in a med/surg setting

• ICU experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities

• Basic computer proficiency

• Fluency in another language a plus

Compensation Range:

$39.80- $93.69

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
