Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (PRN). You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by following established clinical standards and evidence-based protocols, and lead multidisciplinary team communications.

This role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS within 30 days of hire, and preferred STABLE certification. You will execute orders, support discharge planning, and ensure safe patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required at time of hire.
• BLS within 30 days of hire date required.
• STABLE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per clinical standards and protocols.
• Drive implementation of patient care plans with proactive status monitoring.
• Act as primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams and ensure seamless communication.
• Execute physician and nursing orders, supporting clinical decision-making.
• Lead discharge planning to ensure safe patient transitions.

• Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams, facilitating seamless communication and well-integrated treatment.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as a critical link in the clinical decision-making process.
• Lead the discharge planning process in collaboration with the health-care team to ensure a safe and successful transition for every patient.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
