- Provide direct and indirect patient care to orthopedic surgery clinic patients and their families
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement nursing care plans and provide patient education
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of patient care
- Deliver holistic, individualized care to patients in the assigned area
- Develop, implement, and coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN-Registered Nurse of California upon hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence regarding nursing theories, concepts, and practices
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, patient-care best practices, privacy, and applicable regulations
- Written and verbal communication skills for explaining sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook, and Electronic Health Record systems
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while handling multiple tasks and interruptions
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
- Ability to protect patients’ protected health information (PHI)
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
