Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in an orthopedic surgery clinic in Mountain View, California. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, educate patients and families, and evaluate patient care outcomes.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN-Registered Nurse of California upon hire.
  • BLS- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, safety policies, privacy and PHI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

  • Written and verbal communication skills for explaining sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook, and Electronic Health Record systems
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while handling multiple tasks and interruptions
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
  • Ability to protect patients’ protected health information (PHI)
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
