Job summary

Amedisys in Selma, AL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The orientation salary is $73,000 to $80,000, after which compensation shifts to a per-point pay method.

You will perform patient assessments, supervise LPNs and HHAs, and collaborate with the care team to implement plans of care. Timely documentation and on-call duties are required, with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical RN experience or approval by VP Clinical.
• Current RN license valid for the assigned state.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and collaborate with the care team on plans of care.
• Make referrals when indicated and document rationale when not.
• Educate patients to promote health and independence in self-care.
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs; ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Communicate patient progress with clinical manager and care team.
• Plan staff education and participate in on-call duties.
• Engage in clinical development and continuing education.
