Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager to lead a 10+ member healthcare team at the Mt. Sterling, IL Health Center. The role focuses on daily operations, staff development, and high-quality patient care for DOT client employees and dependents.

Typical hours are Monday-Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Thursday-Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with no regular weekends. Competitive benefits, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and wellness programs are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current certification with hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers; ACLS may be required.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S) or related areas preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical field.
• 2–3 years of management experience.
• Experience accessing infection prevention standards (CDC/WHO/APIC).

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (RNs, LPNs, admin, and technical staff).
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
• Monitors patient flow, utilization and penetration.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and root-cause analyses.
• Serves as infection control lead and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Communicates corporate policies and engages with client representatives.
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and resolutions.
• Maintains patient health records and performs other duties as assigned.

Sterling, IL.The scheduled hours are Monday - Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Thursday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance

• Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis
• Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations
• Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Current license as RN in state of practice
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field
• 2 – 3 years of management experience
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices
