Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and supervise care on the medical‑surgical unit for medically complex and critically ill patients. Under nursing leadership, you will deliver direct care, monitor conditions, and support discharge planning.

You will collaborate with respiratory therapists, case managers, and dietitians, educate patients and families, and administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Active Inpatient RN role with strong assessment skills.
• Ability to manage meds, IVs, and wound care per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals.
• Commitment to patient education and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to medically complex or critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care per protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and post-discharge resources.
• May take on Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed.
