Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount is seeking an RN to deliver and supervise patient care on the nursing unit, using the nursing process and coordinating interdisciplinary plans. This role includes discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and connecting patients with community resources.

Responsibilities may include serving as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification is required for this position and must be obtained within 90 days of employment. BLS is required now.

Qualifications

• State RN licensure required. ACLS/Credentials required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification required. ACLS required for Charge Nurses.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and community resource access; may perform Charge Nurse duties when needed.
