Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Glenview facility. The RN will assume responsibility for a group of residents, conducting assessments, implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with the care team to ensure quality resident care. The role requires an active RN license in Illinois, a nursing degree, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress.
• Ability to relate positively with residents and families.
• Meets health requirements as required by law.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces.
• Takes vital signs; administers catheter care and IV therapy as licensed; provides respiratory care.
• Documents care notes and resident responses.
• Addresses safety hazards and reduces risks in the resident environment.
• Coordinates with non-licensed staff to meet professional standards of care.
• Communicates with residents, families, physicians, and staff as required by policy.
• Implements and maintains care plans; suggests changes to the IDT.
• Ensures infection control compliance and HIPAA adherence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
