Job summary

MSCCN in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Green Bay, WI.

This role is scheduled as a full-time position at 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with two days and later hours, allowing a later start time.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.).
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required; ACLS may be required by contract.
• COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred (may be required).
• Minimum three years RN experience in ER or occupational health/ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
