Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the required state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• Coordinate with team to delegate appropriately and ensure continuity of care.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care requirements.
