Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in the observation unit. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, participate in governance activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. BSN is preferred. Expect 36 hours per week with an AM shift and a competitive pay range listed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required.
• BSN degree preferred but not required for all roles.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with the care team.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
