Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Residential Program in Covington, LA. The RN will assess and implement nursing interventions for assigned clients, applying evidence-based practice to promote medical stability and health.

The role includes training clients and staff, directing LPN/CNA practice on the unit, and participating in on-call rotation as needed. An RN license and 1–2 years of nursing experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the needs in our Residential Program in Covington, LA. This position provides registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within a designated site. The nurse in this role is responsible for assessment and interventions for assigned residential clients; the nurse designs and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence based practice and principles to promote health and medical stability. The nurse also provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff. The Registered Nurse directs the practice of the LPN and/or CNA's on the unit. May participate in program’s on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required
• 1-2 years’ experience in nursing is preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
