Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners is seeking PRN Behavior Health Technicians to work in our Covington, LA residential programs. You will provide direct care to individuals with brain injury and support daily living activities, safety, and continued recovery.

Schedule features 12 hour shifts. You will implement behavioral training, document daily progress, transport residents to appointments and activities, and assist with housekeeping tasks in a supportive, ethical environment focused on dignity

Qualifications

• Direct patient care and safety support for adults with brain injury.
• Accurate daily documentation of progress and incidents.
• Transportation assistance for residents to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

We are searching for PRN Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 12 Hour Shifts

Duties

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
  
  

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
