Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Pensacola, FL, seeks a dedicated registered nurse for the Freestanding ED - Nine Mile. The role requires Florida RN licensure, ALS and BLS certifications, and ED experience.
You’ll lead individualized care plans and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is rotating/PRN, on-site at 1501 W Nine Mile Rd.

Lead and execute individualized care plans by continuously monitoring patient health status and adjusting clinical interventions to drive optimal patient recovery and quality outcomes.
Serve as the primary clinical coordinator by collaborating across multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, specialists, and therapists—to deliver seamlessly integrated patient care.
Execute medical orders with precision by accurately interpreting, noting, and carrying out physician and nursing directives in accordance with clinical safety protocols.
Champion safe patient transitions by evaluating discharge readiness and coordinating post-care needs with the care team to prepare patients and families for successful at-home recovery.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
Additional Preferences:
2 years of emergency department experience.
