Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description

Lead the charge in delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care on the Progressive Care Unit. You'll leverage the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to craft individualized care plans, guide your team, and drive meaningful patient outcomes. Partner with the healthcare team to communicate critical patient and family information, champion solutions that keep patients on track with their goals, and ensure every intervention makes a real difference in patient recovery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BSN preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BLS)
