Job summary

EmergencyMD in Walnut Cove, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team serving residents in a long-term care setting. You will provide compassionate nursing care, participate in care planning, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, administering medications, documenting accurately, and supporting admissions and transitions. We offer competitive pay, health benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs during shifts and ensure alignment with facility standards.
• Monitor residents, assess symptoms, and administer prescribed medications/treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
