Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a warm, patient-centered environment. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, following individualized care plans and state regulations.

You will supervise nursing assistants, monitor residents, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, assist with admissions and discharges, and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license.
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Supervise staff and oversee patient care in line with standards and regulations.
• Supervise CNAs during shifts, assign tasks, manage performance, and ensure adherence to facility standards.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
