Position includes patient-centered care, EMR documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. BLS/ACLS requirements apply, with ACLS training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS certification required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families to meet goals.
• Deliver evidence-based patient care and educate families.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust care using evidence-based practices.
• Support performance improvement and clinical leadership initiatives.
• Promote High Reliability in patient care and operations.
• Mentor peers and manage patient care effectively.
• Document the nursing process and patient responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance with policies and required training.
