Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families to meet goals.
• Deliver patient care using evidence-based practices and hospital policies.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care accordingly.
• Drive improvement with Clinical Manager on Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Promote High Reliability to improve patient care and operations.
• Lead and mentor peers while managing patient care.
• Document the nursing process, plan of care, education, and responses in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance with policies and complete required training.
