Qualifications

• Licensed RN in state of employment or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching post-hospitalization.
• Perform Charge Nurse duties if assigned; ACLS certified.
