Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Three years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• TB screening and required vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units and develop care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications.
• Administer medications, wound care, patient education, and post‑operative care.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Orient to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
• Maintain documentation per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to support quality improvement.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled.
