Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients in a safe, therapeutic environment. The role involves collaborating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, and supervising nursing staff as needed.

Qualified candidates hold an NH RN license and BLS certification; BSN preferred. This on-site position reports to the Director/Nurse Manager and adheres to organizational standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure required: NH State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a defined patient population.
• Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
• Document care and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Teach patients and families about the plan of care.
• Prepare patients to manage their care after discharge, transfer or procedures.
• Provide direct patient care and administer medications.
