Concord Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care from assessment through discharge for a diverse patient population. The role emphasizes safe, evidence-based practice within a collaborative team environment and adherence to hospital standards.

The ideal candidate has NH RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience. BSN is preferred, with opportunities for professional development and supervision of support staff.

Qualifications

• One year of prior clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in New Hampshire (NH).
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).

Responsabilités

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for a patient group.
• Uses life-span growth and development knowledge to address age-specific needs.
• Collaborates with health care team to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Adheres to department policies, standards and protocols.
• Reports to Director or Nurse Manager; may supervise Nursing Assistants.
• Teaches patients and families about the plan of care.
• Prepares patients for discharge, transfer or procedures.
• Manages time and resources to deliver care.
• Administers medications and provides direct patient care.
• Leads the health care team and serves as a resource for shifts.
• Functions as preceptor for new employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
