Job summary

V R Della Infotech Inc. is seeking experienced ED nurses for night shifts (12p-12a with 3–4 shifts weekly) in a Level III Trauma Center/Primary Stroke Center. You will interpret and manage dysrhythmias, administer blood products, start IVs, and provide care for a wide range of acute conditions.

Travelers accepted; locals must live more than 50 miles away. Unit systems include EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR. Orientation is 24 hours, with a patient ratio of 1:5 and shift patterns of 1845-0715.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center designation.
• Traveler experience accepted; locals must live >50 miles away.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias.
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Blood product administration and IV access care.
• Central line care and management; starting IVs; continuous IV sedation; IV vasopressors.
• Care for patients with CVA, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, trauma-related injuries.
• Care for abdominal pain, asthma, burns, head injuries, hyperglycemia, infections, seizures; ventilated patients.
• Identify and report abuse; monitor mental/behavioral health conditions.
