Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center in Colorado is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our fast-paced ED team. You will assess patients, stabilize emergencies such as strokes or heart attacks, and triage by urgency.

The role requires ACLS/PALS and TNCC certifications along with an active Colorado RN license. We offer a competitive hourly rate with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the emergency department team to deliver fast, compassionate care.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic emergency department team. As an ER RN, you’ll play a critical role in delivering fast, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in their most urgent moments.

Pay

$44.58 per hour (eligible for shift differentials). PRN (As Needed) position

Shift Differentials

• Weekday Nights – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am – $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Days – Saturday, Sunday – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm – $3.50 per hour
• Weekend Nights – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am – $5.00 per hour

Core Duties

ER Nurse to provide care in emergency room and other critical care settings. Quickly assess conditions and stabilize patients in life-threatening emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks or severe injuries. Triage cases in order of urgency and need.

Administer medication as instructed by physicians. Start intravenous lines, intubations, patient stitches and sutures as directed. Create and maintain incoming patient records. Work closely with team of emergency staff to help patients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification) required. TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course certification) is required but can be completed within six months of hire. Active Colorado RN license required. Three years of previous work experience as an RN is required. Previous emergency room work experience is preferred.
