Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join their dynamic ED team. You will assess conditions, stabilize patients in stroke, heart attack, or trauma scenarios, and triage by urgency.

Responsibilities include administering meds, starting IVs, managing airway interventions, and maintaining patient records while collaborating with the ER staff. Colorado RN license and AC LS/PALS and TNCC within six months are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC certification is required within six months of hire.
• Active Colorado RN license is required.
• Three years of ER RN experience is required; ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage cases in order of urgency and need.
• Administer medications as instructed by physicians.

At Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated, skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic emergency department team. As an ER RN, you’ll play a critical role in delivering fast, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in their most urgent moments.

Pay: $44.58 per hour (eligible for shift differentials). PRN (As Needed) position

Shift Differentials

Weekday Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $3.00 per hour

Weekend Days - Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - $3.50 per hour

Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $5.00 per hour

ER Nurse to provide care in emergency room and other critical care settings. Quickly assess conditions and stabilize patients in life‑threatening emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks or severe injuries. Triage cases in order of urgency and need.

Administer medication as instructed by physicians. Start intravenous lines, intubations, patient stitches and sutures as directed. Create and maintain incoming patient records. Work closely with team of emergency staff to help patients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification) required. TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course certification) is required but can be completed within six months of hire.

Active Colorado RN license required.

Three years of previous work experience as an RN is required. Previous emergency room work experience is preferred.
