Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks experienced Registered Nurses for our Emergency Department in Wilmington, DE. The Level III Trauma ED features a 27-bed unit and geriatric-certified care.

Shift: Full-time, 36 hours per week (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered, including medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and free parking.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Delaware.
• ER and/or Acute Care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards and performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist the emergent patient and document appropriately in ER nursing tools.
• Identify patient needs based on objective data and follow up with documentation.

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the team in our Emergency Department!

Shift:
Full-time, 36 hours per week (7:00PM - 7:30AM) / Every third weekend and rotating holidays

Serving Wilmington community and Northern New Castle County, the Emergency Department at Saint Francis Hospital is a Level III Trauma, 27-bed unit. We care for various types of patients and are the first and only Geriatric certified Emergency Department in Delaware. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

• Assist the emergent patient and documents accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tool.

• Identifies patient needs based on objective data and follows through with appropriate documentation.

• Implements appropriate Nursing actions to each patient that needs to be identified.

• Makes decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment.

• Discusses with and includes patient an/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and documents same.

• Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ASN required, BSN preferred, from an accredited school of nursing

• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware

• Previous ER and/or Acute Care experience required

• BLS and ACLS certification required; must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment
