Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will care for a diverse patient population with high-acuity cases, practicing at the top of your license and coordinating care with ED physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams.

As a member of our ED team, you'll care for a diverse patient population ranging from minor illnesses and injuries to complex medical emergencies, trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical care cases.

The Emergency Department offers experienced nurses the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, utilizing advanced assessment skills and evidence-based interventions to deliver timely, life-saving care. Working alongside emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams, ED nurses play a vital role in rapid decision-making, patient stabilization, and care coordination across the continuum.

Our Campus Features

• Adult ER with dedicated triage & waiting areas + 20+ treatment rooms

Education

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

Licensure

• Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact)
• Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements

Certifications
