Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced ER RN for a weekend mid-shift schedule in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with shift options and aggressive differential pay.

Qualified candidates have hospital-based experience, Missouri RN licensure, and relevant certifications. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is offered along with relocation assistance for full-time hires and front-loaded PTO to support onboarding.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Possess a current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.
• Experience: Must have hospital-based experience. Preferred one year Emergency Department experience.
• Certifications: ETC and Acute Care Center RN's must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. ETC RN's must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of hire date. ETC RN's must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date.

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
