Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Emergency Department is seeking an RN to provide patient-centered care on nights, using the nursing process and collaborating across departments. The role emphasizes accountability, patient advocacy, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

You'll work in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting with opportunities for residencies starting mid-2027. Eligibility for tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact).
• Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS (AHA) required — or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in all actions.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with Mercy mission, values and Service Standards.

Full-Time • Nights 7am–7pm | Three 12‑hour shifts

Qualifications
