Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking registered nurses for the Emergency Department Residency. This full-time night position involves delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process, maintaining patient rights, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across departments.

You will evaluate care effectiveness, participate in ongoing learning, and contribute to Mercy's mission. Eligible candidates will complete residency programs starting June 2027 or January 2027.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact).
• Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS (AHA) certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.

Full-Time • Nights 7am–7pm | Three 12‑hour shifts

Upcoming Residency Start Dates: June 2027 (still accepting applicants for January 2027 also)

Qualifications
