Job summary

University of Vermont Health Network's UVMMC Emergency Department is seeking a night-shift Registered Nurse to provide professional, high-quality care in a Level I Trauma Center. You will assess, treat, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in a 45-bed ED.

Requires at least 1 year of ED nursing experience; on-call is not required. A $10K sign-on bonus is available for full-time roles, pro-rated for part-time, with standard tax withholdings.

Qualifications

• RN with emergency department experience
• Must have at least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Unit Description: Emergency Department RNs provide professional nursing care to patients in varying state of health and illness by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. We are a 45 bed, Level I Trauma Center that offers the highest quality of care to our patients across all of Vermont and Northern New York. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of Physicians, Fellows/Residents, RNs, MHTs and ED Techs. RNs are trained to cover the Charge RN role and to precept.

On-call: Not required

Incentives: $10K RN Sign-on Bonus for Full-Time (pro-rated for part-time roles and subject to tax withholdings) positions. Must have at least 1 year of recent Emergency Department Nursing experience to qualify. Additional terms and conditions apply.
