Job description

Unit Description

Emergency Department RNs provide professional nursing care to patients in varying state of health and illness by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. We are a 45 bed, Level I Trauma Center that offers the highest quality of care to our patients across all of Vermont and Northern New York. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of Physicians, Fellows/Residents, RNs, MHTs and ED Techs. RNs are trained to cover the Charge RN role and to precept.

$20K RN Sign-on Bonus for Full-time (pro-rated for part-time role and subject to tax withholdings) positions. Must have at least 1 year of recent Emergency Department Nursing experience to qualify. Additional terms and conditions apply.

Requirements
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
  • ADN required, BSN preferred.
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
