Job summary

Candidates must hold a NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR, and be willing to pursue BSN or higher and chemotherapy training within defined timelines; 6 months of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS, NIH certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience or active Nurse Residency program participant.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within 3 years of hire.
• Willing to complete chemotherapy training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Ongoing communication with patients and care teams.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments and plans.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
