Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a registered nurse to join our clinical team. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, assess needs, plan and implement care, and collaborate with patients and families to improve care outcomes.

Minimum requirements include graduation from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program, active RN license with privileges, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Engage patients and families to improve care outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the care team and delegate appropriately.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Provide care appropriate to age-specific needs and developmental levels.
