Job summary

Ascension Health in Centerville, TN is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department RN to join the ED team on a PRN night schedule. You will expertly evaluate patient conditions, prioritize care, and act as a primary coordinator for trauma and emergency teams to ensure seamless, timely care.

Responsibilities include carrying out physician orders, monitoring patient stability, coordinating urgent testing, and supporting patients and families through stressful emergencies.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed in Tennessee or valid multi-state license.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
